An original collection of plaster casts collected from museums around the world in the years 1910 to 1970.
The collection of artist and plasterer Mr. Sandor Perjesi (1940-2020)
The collection was once created and collected by sculptor Bomand Utzon-Frank, and his father who was also a sculptor and professor at the Art Academy in Copenhagen Mr. Einar Utzon-Frank.
They created moulds and castings of originals from the Glyptoteket and the National Museum in Denmark, some Danish and Norwegian churches, the British Museum in London, the Acropolis Museum in Athens, the Louvre in Paris and some museums in Berlin.
Later, Bomand Utzon-Frank collaborated with Sandor Perjesis teacher Victor Moth in his plaster workshop in Toldbodgade 9 in Copenhagen behind Clausen's art shop, who was also involved in getting the classic sculptures out to a larger audience.

In 1957, when the architect Arne Jacobsen designed Munkegaardsskolen, several of the models from this collection were used as decoration in courtyards, the sculptures were cast in concrete and they still stand there.
Arne Jacobsen thought it would be good for the students' aesthetic upbringing to look at these works.
Later Victor Moth took over the collection from Utzon-Frank and in 1968 Sandor Perjesi then took over Victor Moth's workshop and the collection and continued to to collect and make more casts.
Sandor Perjesi closed the workshop around 1980 when his teaching and own art took over.
At the beginning of 2021 during the lockdown, Nicolai Perjesi Sandor's son started making new silicone moulds and new casts of some of the models, which is what is called the first casting of the original.
The silicone reproduces the details 100% and gives a much better result than from an old plaster mould.
The collection will continue to grow, and repoductions will be for sale here.
